During our recent visit to Aegina Town, we had the pleasure of dining at Geladakis Fish Restaurant, also known as Psarotaverna Agora. Nestled directly behind the bustling fish market on Panayioti Ireoti Street, this family-run taverna has been a cornerstone of authentic Aeginetan dining since 1962.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Stelios Geladakis, whose attentive and kind demeanor immediately made us feel at home. Opting to sit at one of the outdoor tables, we were immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the market, which added a unique charm to our dining experience.
The menu showcased a variety of fresh seafood, and we took the opportunity to select our preferred catch directly from the adjacent market stalls—a delightful and interactive aspect of the restaurant. We chose grilled octopus, fried red mullet, and a classic Greek salad.
