The Klima Beach

During our visit to the sandy beach of Klima, located on the south side of Aegina near the bay of Klidi, we experienced a peaceful and picturesque setting. Klima is a beautiful beach, offering a quiet retreat during the week, while becoming more lively on weekends when it becomes a popular anchor bay for boats and yachts.

One of the unique features of Klima is its location, nestled between hills that add to its scenic appeal. Looking up from the beach, you can see the houses of the village of Sfendouri, perched on the hillside. This view creates a charming backdrop to the beach, enhancing its tranquil atmosphere.

Klima is an excellent spot for snorkeling and diving. The south side of Aegina is known for its clear waters and abundant marine life. As we snorkeled near the beach and along the rocks, we encountered a variety of colorful fish and other sea creatures. The underwater scenery is captivating, making it a favorite among snorkelers and divers.

One thing to note is the potential confusion between the names Klima and Klidi. Some maps may label these bays differently, with Klima named Klidi and vice versa. However, both bays are close to each other, and their sandy shores and scenic views make them worthwhile destinations.
